CHEAT, the East London-based grading and finishing studio, is once again partnering this year's UK Music Video Awards, sponsoring the award for Best Colour Grading In A Video.

It brings the relationship between CHEAT and the UKMVAs into its fourth year of the company's sponsorship of Best Colour Grading - one of over 30 awards now open for entry at the UKMVAs, the awards show that celebrates the greatest work and most impressive individual achievements in music video production in the UK and beyond in the past year.

CHEAT is a colour grading and finishing studio in East London with experience in all forms of content from feature films, TV series and commercials to music videos. Launched in 2014 by colourist Toby Tomkins as a boutique colour grading and finishing studio, CHEAT added Joseph Bicknell as MD and colourist the following year. Jax Harney then joined in 2016 as the studio's third full time colourist. The team at CHEAT are widely renowned for using their craft to elevate the visual experience, bringing bold vision with artistic sensitivity to deliver exceptional work.

"The UKMVAS are a shining highlight in the CHEAT calendar every year, celebrating the blood, sweat and tears that goes into music videos," says Toby Tomkins. "We are delighted to be a sponsor and to continue helping something so beautiful to recognise the hard work that goes into this industry.

"As budgets fall and expectations rise we will always stay faithful to our music video roots.  We relish the challenge to deliver powerful work alongside the directors and DOPs that we work with. We would like to wish everyone the best of luck for this year's awards. Let's party!"

Entry is now open for this year's UK Music Video Awards in over 30 categories, including Best Colour Grade in a Music Video sponsored by CHEAT. Full information on all the categories and how to enter the awards can be found at the UKMVAs website. The deadline for entries is midnight (BST) on August 1st.

The UK Music Video Awards 2018 takes place at the legendary Roundhouse in London on Thursday, October 25th 2018. More information here.
