Leading director's representation agency OB Management is partnering with the UK Music Video Awards, by sponsoring an award at this year's ceremony for the first time.
UK Music Video Awards 2019: Time Based Arts
For the third year running, Time Based Arts, one of London's top visual effects companies, is on board as a partner of the UK Music Video Awards, sponsoring the Best New Director award at the UKMVAs - which takes place this month, on October 23rd, at The Roundhouse in London.
Simone Grattarola, head of colour at Time Based Arts, says that the company is delighted to be sponsoring the award once again at the UKMVAs. "As a creative-led and independently-owned company we support young filmmakers in realising their vision," he says. "The New Director Award recognises the talented new generation of creators and innovators and we are proud to sponsor the award again this year.”
Founded in 2009 by Flame artists Mike Skrgatic and James Allen, the Shoreditch-based company has firmly established a reputation for stellar visual effects and colour grading, working in commercials, film, TV and music videos.
The facility has always consistently welcomed music video creators for grading and VFX work, and recent projects have included the visual effects for Ian Pons Jewell's video for James Massiah's Natural Born Killers, thirtytwo's video for Idles' Mercedes Marxist, both nominated at this year's UKMVAs, and grading videos for FKA Twigs, Skepta, Apparat and more.
