Foxygen 'How Can You Really' by Grant Singer
Grant Singer directs Foxygen's quirky performance promo for How Can You Really – taking us from the unorthodox stage of the office to a more fitting neon-lit warehouse. Lead singer Sam France's energy levels never drop throughout.
"The last place you'd ever expect to find Foxygen is working an office surrounded by cubicles, let alone in suits. I thought that setting would be a nice counterpoint to the music.
"The idea was to pay homage to the great rock n'roll performance videos of the 80s while modernizing it by revealing 'the set' in which the video was shot in."
