Gesaffelstein 'Reset' by Manu Cossu
Enigmatic French producer Gesaffelstein returns with a video directed by Manu Cossu - his first since the dissolution of the directing duo Fleur & Manu, who's greatest moments included the memorable videos for Pursuit and Hate Or Glory.
For the superb video for Reset, Cossu repeatedly does just that with a recognisable, fierce hip hop performance video. In successive takes, the main perfomer of a fearsome crew transforms into a lookalike of rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine.
And then there's a brief appearance of Mike Levy, aka Gesaffelstein, himself - or his glossy black avatar, itself a link to the gold imagery in those early videos. Mesmerizing.
