The Chemical Brothers 'Got To Keep On' by Michel Gondry & Olivier Gondry
Michel Gondry is back with the Chemical Brothers, this time teaming up with his brother Olivier to create this wonderfully entertaining, very funky video that takes inspiration from classic Seventies music show Soul Train, and gives it an unexpected twist.
A group of happy and carefree dancers get their groove on in a black studio, creating a striking contrast with the colourful outfits. With the help of some subtle CGI, the dancers’ moves start to become more and more exaggerated. Bouncing hair and swooping legs soon turn into something much more abstract. The end result is unexpected and unnerving, as we discover not everything is as it seems.

Gondry is like the stranger who comes back to town. He walks into the dive bar of some small Pennsylvania mining settlement. All of us there, huddled around our drinks. Soot on our faces.
