Westlife 'Better Man' by Locky
Locky (aka Lochlainn McKenna) welcomes Westlife back to action with a video which combines the reunified old boyband's performance at the famed Windmill Lane Recording Studio in Dublin with a storyline set about 25 years ago, when they were just starting out.
LOCKY:
“The important thing for me with this video was embedding Westlife within our narrative. It was integral that we carried the narrative fluidly from 1993 to 2019.
"I wanted to shoot it in 1993 as a nod to the band being around the age the teens are in our story - approximately 14 or so. In general the whole thing was made as a hat-tip to the struggles musicians contend with when they deal with a complex work-life balance.
"Essentially the video is a commentary on that, and that no matter what happens you’ve always got time to make amends and go on… to be a better person.”
