Kano ft Kojo Funds 'Pan-Fried' by Taichi Kimura
Taichi Kimura gets together with Kano to present a sprawling portrait of East London life, illustrating the idea of celebration in spite of dire circumstance – and the warmth and positivity of the community it represents.
The track Pan-Fried contrasts summery beats with a furious, dark undertow, and features a guest turn from British platinum-selling artist Kojo Funds. Utilising the variety of unique locations East London has to offer, the patchwork of vignettes come together to form a warm-hearted homage to Kano's roots, and are elevated by strong performances from both artists.
TAICHI KIMURA:
“We are all surrounded by beautiful sights or moments in life, but sadly nowadays we only stare at our phones. It’s good to look up and be inspired by what’s around us. I hope that the audience may pick that up from watching this video.
"It was a real pleasure collaborating with Kano on this who was always looking for interesting camera angles to get a different perspective. Enjoy.”
