Weezer 'End Of The Game' by Danilo Parra
Area 51 meets 90s nostalgia in the new Weezer video, directed by Danilo Parra.
Opening in a black and white point of view shot, we are introduced to a high school party in a massive garden and house. As we move towards the living room, we cut out of point of view, revealing a gangly alien with a freakishly long neck. He looks somewhat "go with the flow" in terms of attitude, however when two men dressed in hazmats come for him, he has to make a clever escape.
It's a charming video with just the right amount of weird, and a brilliant comeback for Weezer.
DANILO PARRA:
"The End of the Game music video is about me going to high school parties in the 90's with my older brother and feeling a little alienated but also excited to be with the older cool kids. The music made me think of this time period because it feels like a Weezer song from the 90's."
