X marks the spot, in Brock Neal Roberts' psychological tale of the hustle for Jelani Blackman's Swerve.
Faced with the prominent marking in his back garden, Blackman is compelled to start digging. But the oppressive tone of Roberts' video - the yellowish tint of the rapper's claustrophobic home, the low angles, and the increasing invasion of soil into the house - feeds into the idea of his unease, and a sense of isolation.
