Morgan 'Hostess' by Jack Willoughby
Jack Willoughby makes his eye-catching music video directing debut for new hip hop star Morgan.
In the Hostess video the action takes place in a palatial English mansion, lined with historic portraits of 17th century English kings. Morgan is not impressed. So she brings these bewigged fops to life, plying them with champagne, in good hostess style - with an added deadly ingredient.
DoP David Wright contrasts the idea of tradition and structure with a range of off-kilter angles and stylised lighting, and Willoughby brings out top-notch performances from both Morgan and her young accomplice. And those doomed historical characters are definitely off-the-wall.
