Nafe Smallz breaks free from self-imposed limitations in Capone's hallucinatory video for Home Run.
Premium Leisure 'Ready For Forever' by Lawrence Pumfrey
A goofy hippy - played by Premium Leisure's Chris Barker - sets out on a bizarre adventure, in Lawrence Pumfrey's charmingly surreal video for Ready For Forever.
Traversing a strange, autumnal sort of desert - actually extremely soggy chalk pits in Cambridgeshire - this loveable character sets up a shrine and uses some very questionable voodoo to summon three bizarre dancers... and it only gets weirder from there.
Radiating a charming and offbeat vibe, the concept doesn't take itself too seriously, instead revelling in the bizarre nature of life and all of its wonders.
We battled Baltic winds, chalk sludge, and torrential rain to make the vision a reality.
"This is a close-to-zero-budget collaboration between myself and choreographer/co-producer Katya Bourvis - made on a wing and a prayer with a lot of love!
"Both Katya and I spent way too long looking for fake petals on eBay, assembling shrines, and assessing the relative merits of different pairs of cheap white tights.
"We couldn't have done it without the untiring efforts of DOP and editor Rob Key, Chris of Premium Leisure, and the three dancers - who battled Baltic winds, chalk sludge, and torrential rain to make the vision a reality."
