Celeste 'A Little Love' by Silent Tapes
Celeste and Silent Tapes join forces again for A Little Love - the soundtrack to this year's John Lewis & Waitrose Christmas campaign - to tell a curious Christmas tale of magic and imagination.
A little girl's Christmas toys come to life - including Celeste as a music box figurine - in this piece that creates an alternative vision of a classic English Victorian Yuletide, with a nod to the influence of Lewis Carroll's Alice.
"This film is really personal to us, rooted in our family’s own experiences being ethnic minorities in the UK," say husband and wife directing team Silent Tapes.
"It's about the magic and inspiration that happens when there is diversity in children's toys and culture. This song carries such a strong powerful message that goes well beyond love and Christmas.”
