Arlo Parks 'Hurt' (Live) by Rob Akin
Rob Akin directs Arlo Parks' debut performance on US TV, on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Backdropped by an artfully random collection of disjointed lamps, books and papers scattered across the floor, Parks gives an energetic yet emotive performance, embodying the track and the lyrics.
The handheld camerawork gives the project a raw and vibrant energy, whilst the inclusion of a high-angle, slow zoom at the mid-point adds an experimental flair to the concept, and a moment to pause and reflect.
