Victor Solf 'I Don't Fit' by Liswaya
Liswaya directs a captivating visual poem for French artist Victor Solf's I Don't Fit.
The video opens with the artist in a car, as coruscating lights expose the blank industrial space around him.
Suddenly, the same car brutally smashes into the side of his, causing a glittering explosion of glass and metal, before he gets out and walks towards another version of the car, taking his seat in the front.
The perpetual repetition raises questions on the real narrative and world this concept takes place in, and is a brilliant opener for a planned series of collaborations between the director and artist.
"This is the starting point of four upcoming music videos for Victor Solf," explains Liswaya. "This video is an introduction to the central element of our visuals, the car which becomes the direct metaphor of a beating heart. Its engine roaring and crystallising around a metallic shell to protect itself from impacts that are too strong."

Her explore the struggles of Joan of Arc in this artful clip by Liswaya.
Liswaya dissects the painful process of creativity in her video for We Are Major. Very painful, as a young artist suffers an all-too-credible crisis of confidence.
Andrew Donoho manages to make a video featuring numerous car stunts a beautifully graceful affair, for Khalid's seductive, slow-burning banger Better.
Rich Hall takes a classic cinematic scenario - a car steadily filling up with water - and gives it a different spin for Moss Kena.
