Raja Virdi directs his latest video for regular collaborator Holly Humberstone - another example of the artist delivering a charismatic performance in a scenario of unfolding dramatic tension.

In fact, for The Walls Are Way Too Thin, Raja and Holly are channelling Die Hard, no less. We find Holly frantically crawling through a vent, having seemingly set the place on fire.

There's a reason no promo has done an idea like this before - especially with real life explosions...

"This is probably my tenth video for Holly since we started working together in January 2020 and am really proud of the visual language we've crafted (alongside HH creative director/manager Josh).

"Holly is such an amazing talent and in every tough situation we've put her through, she always delivers a staggering performance and this video is no different. This was certainly one of the more challenging shoots I've directed (and EP'd!), from the actual build of the venting, to the way it was lit and shot with various uses of technology.

"The idea was inspired by the classic scene in Die Hard, but making it feel like a Holly music video in the story of her having set this place on fire and the panic mode of trying to escape. There's certainly a reason no promo has done an idea like this before - especially with real life explosions, lol.

"This video was shot over the course of a very, very long shoot day with an extraordinarily talented crew which meant we managed to create something really beautiful. But huge props to the HODs for their enormous work: producer Frankie Willcock and 1st AD Chris Malin for being my rocks and keeping things moving when things weren't always going to plan; Sam Meyer for shooting this so well and forever going back and forth with me on the technicality of this piece; Anthony Neale and his art team who are the brains behind the entire design and exceeded my imagination of what this set could look like; and to Connor Coolbear at ETC for colouring this so amazingly (and pretty much every project I do).

"Super proud of this one - and looking forward to more fun concepts with Holly in the near future!"
