Wynona 'Get Back To Myself' by The Madley Brothers
New directing duo The Madley Brothers deliver a cool showcase for bedroom-pop newcomers Wynona’s debut single Get Back To Myself, featuring lead singer Natalie in a domestic setting, but uncomfortable in her surroundings.
In several well-composed set-ups, shot by DoP Adam Singodia, the video reflects the mood of the song by a band who were repatriated to the UK from their base in Japan at the start of the pandemic last year.
"We wanted to explore the uneasiness of not feeling like yourself and the disconnection and stillness that ensues," explain the Madley Brothers. "It’s introspective and quiet, yet the desperation can’t help but bubble over the surface."
